Hi, I’m Angelica (Angy) — a licensed counselor and board certified art therapist and I am the heart behind Healing Cor Counseling. I offer telehealth sessions across Florida and Ohio for individuals seeking a creative approach to healing. I work with children, teens, and adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, and navigating life’s many transitions.My approach is person-centered and positive, rooted in the belief that each person already holds the tools for growth. Through talk therapy and art therapy, I support clients in expressing themselves, processing pain, and moving toward peace. Whether you’re navigating uncertainty, feeling overwhelmed, or just seeking clarity, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and hope.I offer therapy sessions in both English and Spanish. At Healing Cor Counseling, I aim to offer therapy that feels personal, meaningful, and approachable. I accept select insurance plans, the Step Up for Students scholarship, as well as private pay, making it easier for you to find support that fits your needs. Whether through insurance or self-pay, my goal is to provide a warm, flexible space where healing and growth can flourish.

I accept major forms of payment and provide superbills upon request if you'd like to seek reimbursement from your insurance.


Scholarship:

I am also a registered provider for the Step Up for Students Scholarship Program, which may help cover the cost of therapy for eligible families.

Do you offer in-person therapy?
No at this time — all sessions are offered via telehealth only, available to clients across Florida and Ohio.
What do I need for a telehealth session?
Just a private, quiet space, a strong internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone (like a laptop or phone).
Do you accept insurance?
I accept select insurance plans as well as private pay, making it easier for you to find support that fits your needs. I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I am also a "Step Up for Students Scholarship" provider!
What is the Step Up For Students Scholarship?
Step Up For Students is a Florida-based scholarship program that helps families access educational services and support for their children. Families can use scholarship funds to pay for services such as tutoring, therapy, and specialized instruction — including mental health and art therapy.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to the full session fee.
How often will I need therapy?
That depends on your needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions, then adjust as they grow.
What is art therapy?
Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses creative expression to help process emotions, reduce stress, and promote healing. No artistic skill is needed!
What materials do I need for virtual art therapy?
Basic art supplies like paper, pens, colored pencils, markers, or paint. I can offer suggestions tailored to your comfort and budget.
